Plain-language summary
This summary is for convenience only. The full provisions below form the legally relevant text.
1. Scope
This Agreement applies when the registrant, legal holder, account owner, or material contact information for a domain name is changed through Hostyt.
2. Authority
The person requesting a registrant change must have authority from the current registrant and from the proposed new registrant. We may request identity, business, payment, or authority documents before processing the change.
3. Accuracy and consent
You confirm that the new registrant data is accurate and that all relevant individuals or entities have been informed about processing, registry disclosure, WHOIS/RDAP publication where applicable, and transfer restrictions.
4. Transfer locks
A registrant change may trigger a 60-day transfer lock or another restriction imposed by ICANN, registrar, registry, or ccTLD rules. You are responsible for understanding the lock before approving the change.
5. Disputes
If there is a dispute over registrant identity, authority, fraud, inheritance, company ownership, account compromise, or payment source, we may suspend processing until the parties provide a clear written resolution or a competent authority decides the matter.
6. Reversal
Registrant changes may be difficult or impossible to reverse. We may reverse or block a change only where permitted by registry rules, law, court order, fraud investigation, or our security process.
Updates
We may update this document from time to time. The version published on host.yt is the current version. If a change materially affects active paid services, we may notify affected customers by email, account notice, ticket, or another reasonable channel.
