Fair Use Policy
Applies to: host.yt, the customer panel, billing portal, support channels, and services provided by Marko Omelyash VARSOFIA.
Plain-language summary
This summary is for convenience only. The full provisions below form the legally relevant text.
1. Purpose
Fair use keeps shared infrastructure stable, fast, and safe for all customers.
2. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted
If a plan describes a feature as unlimited, it means there is no fixed ordinary cap for normal website use. It does not allow abnormal, abusive, automated, resale, storage, or infrastructure use that harms the platform or other customers.
3. Examples of excessive use
- CPU, RAM, disk I/O, inode, process, database, or mail usage that affects other customers.
- Large file dumps, backup archives, video libraries, mirrors, or file-sharing repositories.
- High-volume crawling, scraping, API polling, cron loops, or queue jobs.
- Bulk email, bounce storms, mail queue abuse, or poor sender reputation.
- Unpatched CMS installations repeatedly generating malware or spam.
4. Our actions
We may notify you, request optimisation, apply limits, throttle processes, suspend scripts, restrict email, require an upgrade, move workloads, or suspend services to protect stability.
5. Customer options
If your project grows beyond fair-use levels, we may recommend VPS, dedicated resources, object storage, CDN, managed database, email provider, or another architecture better suited to the workload.
Updates
We may update this document from time to time. The version published on host.yt is the current version. If a change materially affects active paid services, we may notify affected customers by email, account notice, ticket, or another reasonable channel.
