1. Scope

This Domain Registration Agreement applies when you register, renew, manage, or use domain names through Hostyt, directly or through our registrar, registry, reseller, or domain service partners.

2. Registry and registrar rules

Domain names are subject to rules set by registries, registrars, ICANN where applicable, ccTLD operators, and other domain authorities. Those rules may include eligibility, verification, contact data, renewal, transfer, dispute, suspension, redemption, and publication requirements.

If registry or registrar rules conflict with this Agreement, the registry or registrar rules may control for the relevant domain name.

3. No ownership of a name

Registering a domain gives you a contractual right to use the domain during the registration period, subject to applicable rules. It does not create ownership of the word, mark, business name, or string used in the domain.

4. Registrant data

You must provide accurate, complete, and current registrant, administrative, technical, and billing contact data. You must update data promptly when it changes and respond to verification requests within the required timeframe.

Registry, registrar, escrow, WHOIS/RDAP, law-enforcement, dispute-resolution, and technical processes may require domain data to be shared with third parties or published in whole or in part.

5. Eligibility and verification

Some TLDs require residency, legal presence, business registration, trademark rights, identity verification, DNS validation, local contact, or other eligibility criteria. You confirm that you meet and will continue to meet all criteria for the domains you register.

6. Registration failures

A domain order is not final until confirmed by the registry or registrar. A domain may fail to register if it is unavailable, restricted, premium-priced, blocked, already taken, reserved, subject to eligibility rules, or rejected by a registry, registrar, fraud system, or payment processor.

7. Renewals and expiry

You are responsible for renewing domains before expiry. Auto-renewal can fail because of payment failure, inaccurate data, registry rules, sanctions checks, technical errors, or disabled renewal settings.

Expired domains may stop resolving, enter grace or redemption periods, incur restoration fees, become unavailable, be auctioned, be deleted, or be registered by another party. Some TLDs have no grace or redemption period.

8. Transfers

Transfers are subject to transfer locks, EPP/AuthInfo codes, registrant approval, verification, 60-day locks, dispute status, payment status, registry rules, and current registrar approval.

9. Suspension and cancellation

Domains may be suspended, locked, cancelled, transferred, or modified to comply with registry rules, court orders, law-enforcement requests, ICANN policies, abuse reports, inaccurate data, payment issues, sanctions obligations, or dispute-resolution proceedings.

10. Domain disputes

You agree to participate in applicable domain dispute mechanisms, including UDRP, URS, ccTLD-specific procedures, registry dispute policies, and court or authority proceedings where relevant.

Updates

We may update this document from time to time. The version published on host.yt is the current version. If a change materially affects active paid services, we may notify affected customers by email, account notice, ticket, or another reasonable channel.
